Meet Peter I was born in Budapest, Hungary. My interest in martial arts started at age 6, when I joined a local Judo club. At the age of 16 my attention turned to Jeet Kune Do. I kept on training there as we competed in numerous Kickboxing tournaments. In 1991 I left Hungary and came to Canada. In Edmonton as I was going to an appointment I walked by Panther Gym. I checked it out and started training there. Kickboxing in Alberta at the time was very eventless and there were no opportunities to compete. Therefore I turned my attention to boxing. By 1994 I was ready to compete as a Boxer. In that year I won the Alberta Bronze gloves tournament in Drayton Valley. The popularity of Panther Gym at the time with World class athletes has given me the opportunity to spar and work side by side with some of the best fighters and trainers of the world. By 2004 the end of my professional career I have had 15 pro fights and 10 years of constant learning and training. During those years I've always had my interest in teaching. I've taught kickboxing to ages 6 and up during those years in different locations around the city. In the year 2002 I've decided to make teaching a full time career and been teaching ever since. I've taught to the City of Edmonton, Club Fit, Panther Gym and currently teaching at Hardcore Gym. A lifetime of training has taught me how to manage my time, nutrition and lifestyle to be fitness oriented. Looking forward to share those experiences with you!
